As you may or may not be aware; we are part of a larger project called Dover Coast. An adult lifestyle community development project.
This project is the catalyst for the golf project as a whole.
In September of 2019 Norfolk County a development moratorium for Port Dover specifically due to the lack of potable water and the County’s inability to ensure public safety was instituted.
This effectively put our development on hold until the moratorium is lifted.
Needless to say; we finance the construction of golf holes from earned proceeds of home sales, with no home sales we effectively can not build golf holes.
Once home construction starts up again, golf construction will start as well.
Council had its first major (there was one smaller one) public discussion concerning options to address this solution in February 2021 and we do not know when to expect a resolution.
